Biography
Gabriel grew up in Washington, DC and pursued his undergraduate and medical studies at McGill University in Canada. I later moved to San Francisco for residency. He is a practicing pediatrician at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco, and the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Gabriel is interested in developing tools that standardize clinical practice in the pediatric emergency department, to improve patient outcomes while limiting unnecessary costs to the healthcare system. In addition to research, he also leads a monthly diagnostic reasoning conference for the UCSF pediatric residents.
