Biography

Jed Obra was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a 3rd-year medical student in the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program. He graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Physiology and from UC Berkeley with a Masters in Health and Medical Sciences. His current research focuses on promoting equitable care for patients in the ED through analysis of AI and other clinical decision-making tools. He is also passionate about teaching and mentoring students down the pre-health pipeline to help them achieve their professional pursuits!

Interested in Emergency Medicine, mentorship, education, Pediatrics, POCUS, and diagnostics (feel free to choose any)

Hobbies

Jed loves to travel and enjoy the outdoors, playing Quadball (Quidditch), and hanging out with friends and family.

Goals for the Future

Jed hopes to pursue Emergency Medicine in residency!
